Northern Herdsman was founded by Brennon Schwartz, a native of Dawson Creek, BC. Brennon's roots run deep in the region, where he spent his formative years playing hockey and gaining hands-on experience on local ranches. His passion for learning led him to complete both Level 1 and 2 millwright training, further expanding his skill set.

Brennon's journey of education continued at Okanagan College, where he earned his business diploma, honing his knowledge of business operations and management. He entered the realm of sheep grazing through practical experience while working for a rancher specializing in sheep-based vegetation management in the forestry industry. This unique exposure allowed him to understand the crucial role of sheep in curbing competitive growth, ensuring the successful replanting of pine trees.
