SERVICES
Northern Herdsman is a naturally sustainable service for vegetation management, situated and active in the Peace Region. Our approach involves the utilization of sheep, which are expertly employed to eradicate unwanted vegetation and seamlessly transition from one site to the next. Sheep grazing stands as an eco-conscious solution to the problems of environmental concerns, cost efficiency, and official regulations.

Sheep are the ideal choice for several reasons. They are more versatile grazers than cattle, consuming a wider variety of plants and grazing closer to the ground. Sheep can navigate challenging terrains, such as hills and arid landscapes with ease. Their smaller size makes handling them safer and more efficient, resulting in less soil compaction and lower methane production compared to cattle.
Our Methodology

Site Assessment
A thorough evaluation of the area is conducted to fully understand your requirements and needs.

Sheep are gathered from their home pastures and transported to the designated site.

Once on-site, the sheep are released to graze under the supervision of a dedicated shepherd.
04
Completion
After completing the job, the sheep are either transported to the next location or returned to their home pastures.
05

We ensure that all panels and fencing are removed, leaving behind an intensively grazed paddock with sheep manure, indicating a successful operation.
